About Samuel G. Abrams

Nemo enim ipsam voluptatem quia voluptas sit aspernatur aut odit aut fugit

My Story

Scorpio, Scorpio Rising, Strong Pisces Moon

At around eight years old, I began experiencing dreams of the future, which, while not always significant, marked the start of my spiritual journey. My sensitivity to emotions and thoughts from others became apparent early on, a trait shared humorously by my family who often knew who was calling before the phone rang. My parents, often telepathic with each other, and my maternal grandmother’s aunt, the Bone Setter in the Ukrainian town of Luba, undoubtedly influenced my abilities.

Raised in a Reform Jewish household with an agnostic and scientific father, I developed an early interest in science fiction and fantasy. Childhood was occasionally marked by depression, which I learned to transform into a state of relaxation. As I grew, I discovered that I could absorb others’ headaches, relieving them through relaxation and meditation techniques. From an early age, I felt a strong connection to the elements, especially Air and Water, expressed through flying kites and collecting seashells.

My formal studies began in a small experimental high school offering unique courses such as Intro to Psychology, Intro to Metaphysics and Edgar Cayce, Dreams, Self, Roles and Stereotypes, Shotokan Karate, and World Literature. During this time, I received my first Tarot reading from a fellow student, which was remarkably accurate. A close friend of mine was a druid, further deepening my interest in metaphysics.

At 20, I bought my first tarot deck. College experiences included clairvoyance, remote seeing, telepathy, and psychic self-defense. I became an expert in psychic self-defense after my druid friend and I confronted a negative group that retaliated. I briefly studied Hung-gar kung fu and, in graduate school, Tai Chi.

In 1989, I joined a Gardnerian Wicca coven in North Miami, where I was initiated as a First Degree. The High Priest, also a Reiki Master, introduced us all to Reiki. When the coven dissolved in 1992, I continued as a solitary practitioner. I was involved with Science of Mind for about a year.

In 1996, I turned professional as a reader with the Kenny Kingston Psychic line, conducting between 2,500 and 3,000 readings in one year. I later participated in psychic fairs and had private clients, addressing questions on various topics using a pendulum.

From 1997-1998, I was involved with the Witan Parley Coven in Palm Bay but was not a full member. Around 2002, I joined an eclectic coven and later became its High Priest until 2007. During this period, I participated in Native American services and was given the name Sees In The Dark. I also studied NKT Tibetan Buddhism and Zen Buddhism at the Goddess’s instruction, taking Refuge Vows and receiving the Buddhist name Dau Huang (Great Action).

Rejoining Wicca in 2019, I became a Coven Elder in a Maidenhair Tradition Coven (similar to Gardnerian). I moved to Orlando in August 2023 and currently attend services at the Circle of Sublime Elms.

I am also the Outside Sponsor of a Wiccan Coven at Okeechobee Correctional Institution and am seeking donations for this group and others in the state.
